Ruth Naomi Davis passed away Feb. 28, 2010, at age 87, from complications following a car accident. She was born in Richmond, Calif., to Rebecca and Clarence Halterman. She married Jack Davis in 1941, just before he was called to serve in World War II.

Richard G. “Dick” Roche was born in Oakland in 1924, graduated from Lowell High School in San Francisco and went on to serve in the Army Air Corps in Texas and England. Dick met Pearl Ham of Arcata, whom he married in 1943.

Allison Glasgow Solt died peacefully in her sleep on the afternoon of March 3, 2010, in the Calistoga home she shared with her son and daughter for the past seven years. She was 100 years old.
