2127 — A caller complained of a barking dog in the 700 block of Chiles Avenue. They called back to cancel a few minutes later because their neighbor got home and quieted the dog.
2349 — During a traffic stop at Main/Pratt police arrested a 29-year-old Sonoma man for investigation of DUI.
Wednesday, May 20
0806 — A three-legged cat was reported missing from its Pine Street home.
0900 — An officer went to the Young School for a presentation.
0924 — Report of a non-injury collision near Main/Pope.
1448 — A College Avenue woman reported the father of her child was supposed to pick up the child, but said he couldn’t because his tires had been slashed. He accused her of the vandalism, but she said she didn’t know anything about it. She wanted the police to know she was getting very frightened about the situation.
1616 — A backpack and stereo faceplate were stolen from a car in the 1000 block of Hunt.
1728 — Two yellow labs, one of them with a limp, were reported missing from their Allyn Avenue home.
1741 — A citizen in the lobby said she accidentally left her yellow wallet in a shopping car in the 1000 block of Hunt.
2243 — Report of two explosions or large-caliber gunshots heard from the 2800 block of Spring Mountain Road. One sounded close to the house and one was farther up the mountain. A sergeant checked the area.
Thursday, May 21
1018 — Someone turned in a white fluffy dog they’d found rolling around in the 1600 block of Spring Street. The dog was taken to the Corporation Yard, and was later picked up by its owner.
1032 — Report of a man yelling and screaming in a parking lot in the 1000 block of Fulton Lane. Officers contacted the man, who was just talking on the phone and frustrated.
1035 — A man reported his tires were slashed on May 14 while his car was parked in a parking lot on Hunt Avenue. Report taken.
1107 — A friendly pit bull on the high school campus was taken to the Corporation Yard. It was later claimed by its owner.
2158 — A 38-year-old St. Helena man was arrested for child abuse.
2315 — Report of two men carrying a drunk woman at Main/Spring. They reportedly hit the woman’s head on a wall and grabbed her by the throat. Officers contacted the subjects and stood by until relatives responded to pick them up.
Friday, May 22
1810 — A 30-year-old Napa man was arrested on Sulphur Springs Road, following a physical fight.
1852 — Information from the CHP: A woman on Spring and Sylvaner was crying on the phone stating that some man did something to her. Unable to locate woman.
2037 — Officers responded to Silverado Trail and Pope Street for a motorcycle down, but it was off the roadway.
2130 — Reporting party following a possible drunk driver on Main Street near Vasconi's Pharmacy. Driver swerving in and out of traffic lane.
2140 — Multiple complaints received of some sort of sprint car or motorcycle race being held near Madrona. No noise permit on file.
Saturday, May 23
0149 — Dead deer in roadway in the northbound lane in the 400 block of Silverado Trail. CHP advised for traffic control.
0812 — Tires slashed or air let out of them on vehicle at Starr and Meadowcreek. Reporting party does not like this type of behavior in his neighborhood; requests SHPD look into incident.
0841 — A 96-year-old male having difficulty breathing, possible heart attack. Units responded to Sulphur Springs address and patient transported.
1514 — Report of loud music with a pounding bass on Spring Street. Officer advises music is not loud, but contacted the responsibles, who turned it down.
1626 — Two-vehicle collision with injuries, Main and Charter Oak. Woman, 64, reports chest pains; male sustained leg injuries and family wants a 1-year-old toddler checked out. Three tow trucks requested.
1942 — Officers asked to be on the lookout for a green Toyota 4Runner, leaving Silverado Brewery. Occupants are throwing bottles and trash from the vehicle.
Sunday, May 24
0153 — Los Angeles resident, 32, was arrested for investigation of DUI near Mitchell and Main.
1402 — Black dog wandering in area of Spring and Saint James.
1541 — Officer assists motorist on Highway 29 as his vehicle is overheating.
1551 — Officer requests tow truck for a vehicle whose tag has been expired since 2007.
1658 — Arrest made in Sunshine Parking lot for a driver with expired license.
1955 — Reporting party was walking her dogs and two stray dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Golden Laberdoodle, became aggressive on Pinot Way. Owners were unaware their dogs were loose.
2241 — A party, with singing, yelling and loud music, was reported near Silverado Trail and Pope Street. Resident contacted, who agreed to shut down the party for the night.
Monday, May 25
0101 — Suspected reckless driver on Crinella, but when officer arrived, vehicle was unoccupied.
0315 — Person needs help with a 85-year-old female who wedged herself between a bookcase and the bed. Woman not injured, but just needs help getting back into bed.
0850 — Laguna Seca resident reported a construction company using a backhoe on a holiday. Officer contacted crew, who advised they got permission to work today, but added they will stop the loud work and start the quiet work.
1041 — Officers stopped a possible reckless driver at Main and Spring streets. Driver, who was counseled, was allegedly passing over double yellow lines, doing 90 mph between Yountville and St. Helena and entered town doing 50 mph in a 25 mph zone. No ticket issued.
1429 — Small white poodle mix was picked up for safekeeping and transported to the Corp yard.
1518 — Citizen requesting PD pick up a brown lab, who has a collar but no tags. CSO picked up dog and was enroute when owners called the PD looking for Romeo, a 5-year-old chocolate lab. Dog returned to owners.
1610 — Request for an officer check area of Dean and Deluca. Report of a possible drunk driver in a black Land Rover.
2236 — Loud party on Spring Street between Stockton and Allyn. Officers responded and contacted those responsible, who agreed to keep the noise down.
2242 — Reporting party following a possible drunk driver in a white Chevy Blazer at Highway 29 and Ehlers Lane. PD contacted CHP with vehicle description.
2250 — Person in police lobby reporting female who was soliciting prostitution at the car wash on Main Street. Suspect is Hispanic female, 30 to 40 years old, who drives a gray pickup truck with silver tool box. Suspected walked over to person's house several times to make sure she has his attention.
2319 — Woman on Signorelli requesting assistance with her belligerent husband, who has returned to the resident
